AIMEE’S BIGGEST FANS

A personal touch

“We didn’t want to have a full-time receptionist working alone in our entrance area. However, we also felt that the iPad sign-in process was not welcoming. Aimee has a smooth, quick and welcoming voice interface which makes the best impression for visitors. I particularly like the notification Aimee sends us, which comes with the picture of the visitor.”

Natural Feel

“Having Aimee’s human like voice at reception feels futuristic to some. But for us this comes natural as we are also applying technology in our line for business and can see how it benefits our customers if it is done as subtly and nicely as done by Aimee Blue.”

Hunter Steele, Smokeball founder and CEO

No Office Bell

“With Aimee, the door is now open. The old office bell is replaced by a new electronic chime. Aimee rings it once in a blue moon. She never unnecessarily interrupts anyone.”

The delivery guy

“Our delivery people used to knock at the door every time they arrived, even if they didn’t need a signature. This was annoying to the person nearest to the door. Now they just talk to Aimee and it is sorted.”

SustainAbility impresses visitors with a modern receptionist

For SustainAbility, a progressive Tech and Accounting recruitment agency based in Sydney, the focus has always been on quality and innovation.

Previously they had been using a tablet-based visitor sign-in system, which was serving a purpose, but they felt the visitor experience needed to be improved.  After looking at a number of solutions they have settled on Aimee, a newly developed AI product.  This innovative product enables visitors to the office to chat with a virtual receptionist who then notifies the appropriate person in the office that they have a guest or delivery.

We asked a couple of the team to comment on their experience of having Aimee in the office.

A welcoming voice

Martin O’Donnell, Co-founder and Director of SustainAbility noted “We didn’t want to have a full-time receptionist working alone in our entrance area, however, we felt that the iPad sign-in process was not particularly welcoming. Aimee has a smooth, quick and welcoming voice interface which makes a great impression for visitors. I particularly like the notification Aimee sends us, which comes with the picture of the visitor via both SMS and email.”

Handling deliveries

George Double, Technology Recruitment Consultant, added “Our delivery people used to knock at the door every time they arrived, even if they didn’t need a signature. This was a bit distracting to the person nearest to the door. Now they just talk to Aimee and it is sorted.’

Smokeball Reduces interruptions

Smokeball is a Leading legal software technology company based in Sydney and Chicago. Like many medium size technology companies, Smokeball does not have a receptionist. Visitors and delivery people have to press the door bell to get access inside the reception area. They were most annoyed by the number of times they were interrupted by the office bell.

Realistic not futuristic

Hunter Steele, Smokeball founder and CEO says “Having Aimee’s human like voice at reception feels futuristic to some. But for us this comes natural as we are also applying technology in our line for business and can see how it benefits our customers if it is done as subtly and nicely as done by Aimee Blue.”

Slack notifications

Like most technology companies, smokeball staff use Slack for internal communications. So they chose to use Aimee’s private and group notifications in Slack that also shows the visitor’s image.
